9 – Hydrosalpinx
Echographie endovaginale. Vidéo.
Hydrosalpinx à paroi épaissie (►). La lumière est rarement visible. Ce qui attire l’œil, c’est l’aspect hyperéchogène de la muqueuse autour de la lumière tubaire.
L’ovaire est repéré à droite.
Le sigmoïde (►) présente une échostructure très différente, avec sa musculeuse hypoéchogène.

Hydrosalpinx with a thickened wall (►). The lumen is rarely visible. What stands out is the hyperechoic appearance of the mucosa surrounding the tubular lumen. The ovary is located on the right. The sigmoid colon (►) shows a very different echotexture, with its hypoechoic muscular layer.

10 – Hydrosalpinx – Péristaltisme

Hydrosalpinx (confirmé à l’hystérographie) à paroi épaissie (►). La lumière n’est pas visible, mais on distingue parfaitement une muqueuse hyperéchogène épaisse.
Surtout, un péristaltisme tubaire est parfaitement visualisé. La présence d’un péristaltisme n’est donc pas toujours synonyme de structure digestive.
Dans le cas présent, il est favorisé par une stimulation ovarienne.
10 – Hydrosalpinx – Peristalsis

Hydrosalpinx (confirmed by hysterosalpingography) with a thickened wall (►). The lumen is not visible, but a thick, hyperechoic mucosa is clearly distinguishable. Most notably, tubal peristalsis is perfectly visualized. The presence of peristalsis is therefore not always indicative of a digestive structure. In this case, it is enhanced by ovarian stimulation.
